The Castles In Space label seems a distant cousin to GB... castlesinspace.bandcamp.com/Was just sampling the delights of The British Stereo Collective (straight outta Stoke)... I'm besotted by The British Stereo Collective I've also discovered a couple of Castles in Space comps from a few years back that are both really beguiling...

Gordon Chapman-Fox was born in the 1970s and spent his childhood re-enacting Star Wars to the sounds of Jean-Michel Jarre against the backdrop of the last gasp of the pace race. Gordon has been making electronic music since 2003 under various names and labels. Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Plan is his latest project.

The first album, “Interim Report, March 1979”, was released in February 2021 and made the Top 20 of Electronic Sound magazine’s albums of the year. The second album has The third album, “Districts, Roads, Open Space”, was released in October 2022 and made it into the top 20 UK vinyl album charts. Before its release, Gordon appeared on Stuart Maconie’s Freak Zone Hauntology special, talking about the legacy of the new towns and its influence on his music. There's a local gig coming up in April 2023 and I am probably gonna go check out Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Plan
