We all know Chris Spedding's classic hit single 'Motor Bikin' ...his involvement in the early days of the Sex Pistols, working Bryan Ferry, Mike Batt and Robert Gordon. But in 'Muso World' is underrated as a guitarist and songwriter on his albums. I have three by him and will get his 1980 'I'm Not Like Everybody Else' next time i see a copy.
I think this is sublime...

He was also in Sharks who formed in 1972 and featured ex-Free bassist Andy Fraser & were signed to Island Records and were highly rated by critics especially for Chris's guitar work
They reformed in 2015 and played a gig here a few years ago. I foolishly didn't go

I got Click Clack (2005) in the other day. Quite an eclectic work, some self penned tunes and a few covers: Beefheart, Floyd Cramer and Ornette Coleman, a nod to old Sharks bandmate Snips too with You Don't Own Me. Both rocky and jazzy soulful. Recommended.

...that song is on his first album for RAK records released in 1976. There are alot of interviews with Chris on YouTube. This one is particularly good. Very candid and honest, with Snips talking about their history and the music scene at that time (1980/81)
