Was always my favourite, had a great period from mid to late 70's until it moved when I saw so many bands there, was almost a second home. Never the same once it moved to Charing X Road. Was great working in the West End, then grab some grub and straight to the Marquee before late train and chips walking home. Straight to bed and up and do the same the next day. Christ, wish I had some of that energy now. Ta for the heads up, hadn't heard that this had come out, will grab a copy.

Oh indeed, spot the band member and try and swing a cat in the khazi. Also pop into "Dark They Were And Golden Eyed" in St. Anne's Court. and pick up the latest Mike Moorcock or copy of Fat Freddie's Cat. Shades records too next door who old many a bootleg.

I did, but only the once, I used Watkins in Cecil Court and Occasionally Treadwell near CentrePoint for my books back then, went to a nice Austin Osman Spare show there too.
