Anyone see it ?
One of the most tense final days of a test I've ever seen.

Stokes shouldn't have declared first innings, Root and the tailenders would have made another thirty plus. Great game though.

Stupid law that allows people to be out in those circumstances but Broad , who doesn't walk, knows professional sport is a serious business where no quarter is given.

As a detached observer it seems quite funny
Aussies doing what Aussies do = ie push the rules as far as possible and then a bit more

No other international team would have done that. Same as ball tampering (Smith and Warner), removing the bails before receiving the ball (Healy), oversized unregulated bat (Lillee), unfettered racism to Indian players (Border and Boon). Wicketkeeper Carey is a new addition to the list.

I wonder if a football analogy could be having the ball kicked out by the opposition for an injury and then the other side not throwing it back and scoring from the throw. Technically legal but a shitty way to win.

Wicketkeeper Carey is a new addition to the list. You can also add Greg Chappell telling younger brother Trevor to bowl underarm. They changed the rules because of that. But their not going to do that following this incident. All wicket keepers do it. And all teams who lose a wicket because of it complain. Swings and roundabouts

Headingly Leeds next. Home of probably the most boorish cricket fans in England.
This could become very nasty.
People are absolutely fuming about it.

It's heating up into a diplomatic incident. Huh? It's not bloody bodyline is it. All an over-reaction

Been a brilliant series really. Might be just enough dry weather tomorrow to make sure there is a result.

Not really a test match fan but this was a great series and a real fairy tale ending for Stuart Broad's career.
The 100 starts tomorrow on Beeb 2, real crash and bang stuff.
