For a long time, revenue from live gigs has been how pro-bands make their money to survive, as file sharing/downloads/spotify etc has drastically reduced their income from their studio recordings, and now with the Pandemic many bands are broke... so yeah, gigs from now on gigs are going to be more expensive across the board for the bigger bands ...but £75 in an enormo venue is going to put alot people off, judging by the comments i am reading online.

Maybe they think the new breed of conservative punks will be willing to pay and in fact welcome the elitist price.

Bloke came in this afternoon telling me he managed to get two Manchester 02 tickets, with priority booking fee at a cost of (I shit you not) £99 each!
There's taking the piss and there's really taking the piss.

It's all academic as it won't happen until at least a year.
From what I've read James is a greedy dodgy turd.

Do you think that will happen? Realistically?

Worst scenario, Manchester could be in tier 3 for sixth months and it won't suddenly go from that to tier 1 immediately. Fans will have to book hotels, Travelodges and other budget chains don't do refunds on low price rooms. If it is postponed and then set at a later, fans will have find accommodation again.
We have got promoters Cuffe and Taylor booking acts for our open air theatre starting in May, Nile Rodgers, UB40 etc. It smacks of desperation and the general feeling from punters is that they won't be buying tickets until they see how 2021 starts to pan out.
All seems a little grubby.

Who knows what might happen?
Seems to me we have to work out how to live with Covid and have a functioning society
Other countries are getting there
Sadly our lot are very incompetent
It's all about ready availability of testing, quick results, and an efficient track and trace service - all things we've spectacularly failed at despite empty promises to the contrary

Do you think that will happen? Realistically? No...Just the body language between the capt and Rat looks awkward, they cant get further a way from each other
