Ah well, every cloud has a silver lining.
The huns go crashing out to lowly St Mirren in the League Cup.
Sevco and the Scottish media had this one as a stick on but Sevco still struggle to win their first trophy.
A late 92 minute goal too.๐๐
Gerrard looked as if he was going to greet like a big wean๐๐๐

Barkus in goal for Celtic tomorrow and with Jullien injured surely even Lennon won't be as stupid to play that lump of wood Duffy...
But he will..
I fear the worst.

Celtic (and others) going to Dubai for a "training camp" is ridiculous. Massively tin eared given the situation in the UK. On Friday the UAE had 5,055 new cases, nearly double the Scottish numbers. There is a lot of Covid in Dubai Now the squad is decimated with Covid related issues. Neil Lennon and 13 players self-isolating Talk about shooting yourself in the foot The lads during another hard training session in Dubai...

I personally think it was a daft idea to go abroad and it served no real purpose.
However, Celtic seem to be getting it tight from the Scottish media and Sturgeon which is utterly hypocritical considering it was the Scottish government ok'ed it in the first place.
Even the SFA has come out tonight and said so. This will be buried by the Scottish media.
That's what happens in Scotland.
We have a Celtic player who stupidly broke Covid restrictions and Celtic had two games suspended in succession.
Whereas we had 2 hun players who also broke Covid restrictions and the Scottish media and government congratulated them for being so honest in doing so!
And don't get me started on the Covid restrictions broken by the Scottish national team.

Some WSL players did the same thing. Three of Arsenal Womenโs senior international players reportedly travelled to Dubai over the festive period, after London moved into Tier 4 restrictions. One has apparently tested positive. Casey Stoney has apologised for a โpoor error of judgmentโ in permitting some of her Manchester United players to join counterparts from Arsenal and Manchester City in flying to Dubai during the Christmas break. All three clubs getting it in the neck - rightly so. It might not have been against the rules but it's "the optics" innit? Looks terrible especially when the vast majority are just getting on with the restrictions and abiding by the rules - both the letter and the spirit

I think it's an insane decision and not just because of Covid.
We should be concentrating on trying to attempt a challenge to the huns in the new year. Ok the weather has been pretty pish but theres still no excuse given we have a modern training facility.
Again,Lawwell makes the wrong decision.
The hysteria in the Scottish media is over the top but we shouldn't be surprised by this.

I doubt it.
Celtic are in no way capable of making up the difference.

I doubt it. Celtic are in no way capable of making up the difference. Cone on Rogue - channel some of that optimism from July 2020... The quest for 10-in-a-Row begins in earnest on August the 1st ๐๐ The huns and Gerrard under intense pressure to stop it. Win yer games in hand and see how Gerrard and Rangers cope with the pressure I'm saying it's still doable

You think?I would never give it up until its mathematically impossible.
Celtic have collapsed this season and Lawwell, Lennon and the so called'scout' Hammond are all to blame.
Mind you Scotland's ref's will always wade in and help the huns(like today's equalizer which was clearly offside).

Well, it doesn't look too promising right now, I'll grant you but it's definitely still on. Just need a few results to go your way and it can all change again

Can't see it. I would start planning for next season by getting rid of Lennon right now.

Never heard of him to be honest.
They could have so easily won that game on Saturday.
We have them again on Saturday so Celtic have to shape up.
Lennon was great tonight regarding the hypocrisy of the Scottish media about the recent Dubai trip๐
