Two gone in the space of hours. Waterboys and World Party Wallinger and Raspberries plus solo Carmen both put out some entertaining pop over the years.

^^ Weepie classic. I remember buying it and also digging the b side Last Night, an uptempo pop tune. I'd later buy the album that they both featured on, a real MOR disappointment.

RIP Eric
I associate Eric Carmen more with The Raspberries
I Wanna Be With You [1972]
I saw something on another site about an earlier band he had written songs for and sang.
This is good.
The Quick - Ain't Nothin' Gonna Stop Me [1969]

Karl Wallinger was a great songwriter, wore his influences on his sleeve but forged his own distinctive style, RIP
