Arrived today at Lone Shark Mansions, this 'Tour Exclusive Edition' CD from West Coast Punk Legends, FEAR, with original drummer Spit Stix back behind the kit and on impressive form. FEAR main man Lee Ving, may not have the vocal power and range that he once had, but for a guy about to hit 74 years old, he still goes for it with great zeal. There are a couple of songs on here that date back to their early Paradise Studio Sessions era of 1978, plus a great cover of Rose Tattoo's Nice Boys (Don't Play Rock & Roll) - I half expected the two bonus tracks on this special edition CD to be throw away efforts they cooked up in the recording studio for a joke, but they are both excellent, to the degree that i am baffled as to why they got left off the regular pressing of this new album.

There's a dark satirical twisted humour to many of their songs... some i like ...others i do not.
This example, is the former...
