Ignatius Jones dead at 67. He fronted the theatrical rock band Jimmy & The Boys in the late 70s-early 80s. When the band split he teamed up with his sister in swing band Pardon Me Boys. He later became a well respected event organiser, including doing the opening ceremony for the Olympic Games.
I saw the band several times. Iggy was a contortionist, even more so than his US namesake, so he could have an arresting stage presence. The band did lots of cover versions, and others that might have been originals, but to me they were mainly a spectacle. For instance, during their version of 501's 'Baby's On Fire', Iggy would hold aloft a burning plastic baby doll. I didn't know he was Filipino until I read his obituary.

RIP Ig
Got that theatrical Rocky Horror type thing going on
Looks like an Ig show would have been great fun
Never heard of him but glad to finally but that right - shame it's under such sad circs
