So do you go to a gig or a show?I seem to hear more people referring to live music events as shows these days.To me if you stand up it’s a gig,if you sit down it’s a show.

To me if you stand up it’s a gig,if you sit down it’s a show. I'll go with that. And if the the venue is part seating, part standing it's a concert.
