Only because Eddie Howe and Pep didn't want it. We need a far better back four, that's what has let us down at the final hurdle. Can Tuchel deliver that with the average quality lot we currently have?

Neither party views it as a long term thing
He seems pretty capable of putting a team together capable of challenging and he is far more tactically astute and flexible than GS ever was
It's an interesting appointment and I'm suddenly more interested in the national team
