*bump* Somehow managed to avoid watching this series until recently. Was working at home and decided to give it a go. Similarly to "Breaking Bad" and probably "True Detective" (SE1), probably the best tv series I've ever seen. Utterly compelling writing and acting, I've binge-watched up to SE6 so far. -It's so good, I'm rationing myself with the remaining episodes.  |

Only watched this myself fairly recently.Saw episode 1 & thought hmm not sure about this.Watched the second episode & that was it totally hooked.Was gutted when it ended.

One of the last series I watched before I gave up TV. I liked the episodes where somebody got 'whacked', which was quite a lot of them IIRC

I'm going to see the prequel film tomorrow.
But I never finished the TV series, I think the last thing that happened when I was watching it was Tony Soprano's sister coming to visit him. Second season possibly ?

Decent flick.
If you haven't seen the TV series in full there are one or two spoilers when the film opens in the present day.
Good soundtrack aswell.
