Have been watching a few old episodes of Space 1999 recently which I really loved as a kid.
Utter hokum and the 2nd series was utter pants but Gerry was a helluva innovator and his series will always bring a smile to my face.
What was your favourite?

UFO musical related trivia, whether you want it or not. Two of the silver catsuit, purple wig wearing female Moonbase operatives were: Ayshea Brough, singer and presenter of the excellent ITV pop show Lift Off. Gabrielle Drake, sister of enigmatic folk singer Nick.

Peter Gordeno? Would have been a bit camp though.
It doesn't get more exciting than this

Stingray's titles were, as you say, about as exciting as it got. Not sure the programmes always lived up to the build up though.
Never really got Marina
A camp James Bond. How wonderful would that have been? Maybe it will still happen?

I always preferred UFO to Space 1999,although they were both good.Captain Scarlet was another favourite as well.He also created The Protectors.Remember that?Preferred the Persuaders mind.
