Another one was in Argyle St one Christmas when me and my mucker were up the toon having a few pints.
This would be nearer 20 years ago as said pal was just back from New York where he was living.
Argyle St was mobbed due to the time of the year (a bit like coming out of a football match)when all of a sudden this guy started kicking the shit out of this man who was Christmas shopping with his wife and his weans.
The woman started shrieking and pleading with Joe Public to help her as this thug had her husband on the ground and typically people were just walking past.
Myself and 'Eamonn' got there and pulled this bastard off whilst the guy staggered off, he then started on us but was felled by a few well aimed blows to his throat and nose.
We decided to make our getaway before plod started poking their snouts around.
I'll never forget that woman's scream and the cowardly indifference of the so called'general public'that day.

Should have took his wallet and bought the victim some Christmas presents, that’s restorative justice as far as I’m concerned lol.
