I listened to that earlier. Doesn't do much for me at all. Not really Floyd is it? Floyd is pretty much whatever Gilmour says it is these days. He won the war and Mason goes along with it. Anything with a certain style of guitar solo by Gilmour is enough to qualify. |

They are happy with his views on Israel though, presumably because they agree with them, no hypocrisy there. There is something at the very least ironic in the liberal left's embracement of war suddenly as there is in the far right's embracing of Putin's Russia. everything's gone a wee bit topsy turvy. I suppose Water's position is one of complete anti war based on his father's WW2 death, which he usually prefers to bore us to death with in dreary vinyl form, I suppose he is at least being consistent whilst all around change their views and pick the propaganda they wish to believe in. I think the war is necessary as Sovereignty has to be protected, but Western media's completely uncritical acceptance of everything that comes out of official Ukrainian sources does journalism a disservice. |
