anyone else like them  ? one of my fav bands. had tickets for there belfast gig which was to happen back in june but of course didnt. many great albums but alway enjoy there first the best. |

Saw them live in some Huddersfield dive (The Coach House) back in about '79 when Paul DiAnno was the singer. They were handing out free copies of a limited edition EP, which are probably worth a mint now, and I wish I'd kept mine. I had their first elpee but went off them when the Dickenson guy started singing.

running free is still my fav. but god there is so many great song. one of those bands i really like most things they do.

Sad but he really did live life on the edge. His excesses got him fired from Maiden but instead of learning a lesson he carried on. The debut album is one of the greatest metal albums of all time in my opinion.

The only IM stuff I like which I've heard is from his era. Generally think they're awful.
