www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0c321f4Interesting discussion programme on Derby County and their first division title win fifty years ago. It features several Derby players of the era. At the end the fans in the audience clap the players and then Roy McFarland tells his colleagues to clap the supporters. Derby County was the first team I remember being aware of winning the league , in 1975. It's hard to imagine now but they were a much admired and feared side. Francis Lee of course came back to haunt City with that fantastic goal and the famous commentary by Barry Davies.

The Clash reveal their story through interviews from the BBC archives, with a Joe Strummer interview back in 1981 through to Paul Simonon and Mick Jones chatting to Lammo about London Calling in 2019. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0016yh6

Was listening to this earlier whilst out for a drive. Whilst not really my cuppa, there's still some tracks that will hold the interest if Galloway could keep his gob shut for more than 5 minutes. Bloody hell, even Fugazi get a mention which is incredible for Radio Scotland! www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m00180n8

JCC www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m00075wzCultural icon Dr John Cooper Clarke gets Complete Control of 4 Extra, to select his favourite comedy programmes from the BBC radio archives.
The first of three parts, featuring:
* John's hero Bob Hope performing stand-up in 1956
* A nod to the radio variety acts John grew up listening to, including Vic Oliver and Al Read
* A celebration of the pioneering radio DJ Jack Jackson
Jump aboard a radio road-trip travelling all the way from childhood favourites to recent pleasures, with laughs, thrills and chills along the way.
Don't worry though, he is a Doctor and he will be in Complete Control.
Producer: Luke Doran
First broadcast on BBC Radio 4 Extra in November 2015.
