What are your favourites?
Does anyone really do this anymore?
What a fuckin' racket this is.
From the end of 'It's Time to See Who's Who'.

Similarly, again from 1982. The end of 'Troops of Tomorrow' by the Exploited.

I thought that this was more of a CD phenomenon because there's lots of time available in that format to bury a "hidden" track.
The hidden track on Nirvana's "Nevermind" was the first such track I heard about.
There's a hidden track on Korn's "Follow the leader" album, a cover of Cheech and Chong's "Earache my eye", which always makes me laugh.

I don't pay them much heed. They're normally a bit annoying
One CD, forget which one had about 100 tracks, 90 of them silence, until a track of something inconsequential at 100
Another "trick" was to have a 30 minute track, of which 25 minutes was silence at the end of the final track and then some added bit at the end.
Irritating innit?
Was 'Train In Vain' initially uncredited on 'London Calling'?

Train In Vain was uncredited on the original vinyl release. Probably just an oversight because there was a sticker on the cellophane telling you of its existence.
They were annoying and the only one I can think of that was worth holding the FF button down for was Cunts Are Running The World on the self titled Jarvis Cocker album.

Cunts Are Running The World is definitely worth a bit of effort

I seem to remember that Train In Vain was knocked out after the main sessions and then stuck on almost as an after thought. Once it became a hit in America it was viewed a bit differently

Sums McCartney up. They could have wound up their recording career on a profound note with 'The End' but instead he had to have the last word by shoe-horning that trite crock of s*** in
