Became a bit of a gym rat this year, tbh. My local gym had to shut down in March for a few months, so I bought a weight-rack at the house. I briefly had to work from home, because of the Covid-19, so had quite a bit of time and energy more than usual. I'm probably fitter now at 56yo than I was in my 30's-40's, tbh.
I do free-weights 3X per week. Basic barbell exercises (Press, Squat, Deadlift, etc). And bodyweight pull-ups also.
I try to get in some cardio work also. Heavy boxing bag and pad / mitt work, at a friend's home gym, and a bit of running / cycling at weekends if I can be arsed.
But free weight-training (not extreme bodybuilding) is probably the best exercise going for joint and tendon health, and keeping yourself in general good overall nick past 40+, imo.

Still burning off the spare tyre I put on during lockdown, I was full of good intentions for the first month but then Netflix and bags of crisps took over. So it's walking to and from the shop everyday, four mile round trip. Sometimes longer if the tide is out, the sea air is wonderful for your lungs. Waiting for the walking football at the sports centre to start up again. Sixty years old next month ffs.

Mainly walking. A 5 km run every Saturday
Press ups, sit ups, a daily 2 minute plank, a daily kettlebell swing, a bit of stretching and that's about it.
I've got free weights which I use occasionally
And, when I can fit it in, the odd bit of dancing

Go on bike 4 times a week in all weathers and do weights every night myself.
My circuit class has been cancelled and has my sparring exercise with my ex boxer pal.
Still pretty slim but stockier now.
However,theres an outdoor circuit class starting this Friday that myself and Mrs Roguepunk are thinking of attending.
Though given the wet and windy weather just now I'm not sure if this is going to be practicable(or even desirable).
Put on 4lbs over lockdown which fluctuates but I'm well in control of it.

Pre-lockdown I did circuit 3 x a week, Spinning 1 or 2x and a weights session.
Now I run 3-4 miles 4 times a week and lift weights at home.

They've just built a wellness centre near my house I intend to use the swimming pool as much as possible.
