Food - what do you eat? When do you eat it?

Vegan obviously. Been buying these Quinoa sachets recently to eat in the shop, heat up in minutes and packed full of protein. Even though I just cook for myself now, I still seem to be making for two people. So it will be pasta salad for two days, curry for two days etc. My one junk food treat of the week is an Aldi vegan pizza, less than two quid and delicious.

I don't tend to eat until late morning somewhere between 11 am and 1 pm - usually porridge or muesli plus as many bits of fruit as I have (banana, apple, blueberries, grapes etc)
Bowl of salad about 3 pm
Dinner about 6 pm - could be anything... pasta, chili, dahl, risotto, vegan burger, vegan hot dog, vegan pizza (usually homemade), buritto etc
I try to eat all my food in a 6-8 hour window having been convinced by the benefits of time restricted eating

I've stopped eating meat. I was never that fond anyway.
I have a very narrow diet (another sign of being on the autism spectrum which my psychiatrist thinks I am) I find most food (apart from sweets and desserts) repulsive so I only eat things like baked beans, pizza , and bread rolls with tomatoes and beetroot. I can't eat these unless they have brown sauce on.

I can't eat these unless they have brown sauce on. That sounds as though it could be quite tasty I'm getting quite liberal with the tabasco these days - love a bit of heat Brown sauce and ketchup are flipping great

A good friend of mine would only eat fish fingers, tinned cream of tomato soup and sliced white bread. He subsisted on that from childhood until he was about 30. Then I convinced him to try curry. It changed his life.

The Aldi pizza comes a choice of three different toppings. Cauliflower - excellent Smokey vegan bacon chunks - excellent but too spicy before bed Jackfruit - only tried it once, not for me.
Only need 12 - 15 mins at gas mark 5.

I eat only once a day, in the early evening; the rest of the time, I consume only water. I eat in restaurants seven days a week ā unless at a dinner party ā and never cook. When I bought my current home, I had it completely renovated, and had a new kitchen put in in case I ever want to sell it, but it's never been used. Last night's supper consisted of courgette and lemongrass soup, meatballs in a tomato and cheese sauce, steak and oxtail pie with peas and carrots, and lemon and ginger cheesecake. Tonight's meal will probably be an Indian.

I only eat fruit during the day all week and rarely eat snacks.
So I can eat and drink what I want at weekends obviously.

But can't get used to it. I need a breakfast (porridge w/ banana, or eggs) before going to work. Otherwise I feel irritable (low blood sugar) most of the morning. I started eating 'clean' a few years ago. Cut out the junk / processed foods, but still eat some meats and dairy.

Yeah, it's not for everyone
I've experimented with fasting and discovered that hunger pangs are only that, they come and go, and are not a signal that you must eat or you'll faint. It was quite a revelation.
Most of us, if we're healthy, could go without food for a month maybe more, if we had to
All this "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" stuff is complete bollocks promoted by cereal manufacturers
For most of the 300,000 years homo sapiens have been on the planet we've clearly not been tucking into a breakfast, let alone three meals a day. We just ate when food was available and would have had protracted periods without nourishment.
The science now shows how beneficial it is to give your gut a rest from food (e.g. boosted metabolism, reduced blood sugar levels, reduced inflammation, reduced cholesterol, reduced triglyceride levels, improved brain fuction, yadda yadda)
