I must admit I find their later period to be quite sublime.
Especially the singles they released (apart from Trash , obviously.)
Just brilliant pop music.

Pretentious nonsense from a warbling social climbing warbler of a man. Ferry, for all his ideological shortcomings, is an effective frontman and vocal stylist. Eno and Manzanera were ahead of the curve, too. 'Virginia Plain' on TOTP was life-changing for me, like 'Starman' the previous month. Most of the punx I knew at the beginning liked Roxy, David and Marc. Roxy were da bomb |
