In an age of CGI the sets on this look absolutely stunning so well worth watching for this alone.
The plot is perhaps a bit predictable but it's a good story well told.
Captures the horrors of the First World War like no other(so far).
9/10

Great film. Captures (I imagine) the full-on horror of the WW1 industrialized carnage. Some truly epic moments, trip-wire bombs, an aerial dog-fight suddenly getting up-close, etc.

A top, top film👍

Watched it on Friday night. Absolutely superb WW1 drama.

More generally the number of famous faces popping up here, there and everywhere was a bit distracting. I kept thinking, hang on, who's that, I recognise him, oh yeah, it's Mark Strong etc etc
