100 years ago 14 innocent people were murdered and scores wounded by the British Army during a football game in Dublin.

All decent people world wide are being asked to mark this event by lighting a candle today in remembrance.

What a terrible report by the BBC.

Croke Park'killings'.

There seems (in part)if you read between the lines, some some sort of allusion that there might have been justification for it.

Phrases like'14 people will killed'. And the match was 'the IRA at play'.

This was revenge pure and simple designed to terrorise the local population.

The simple fact was that Republicans had wiped out the intelligence structure of the British and in their insatiable bloodlust innocent people were to pay the price.
