Ta Andy. Yeah, it's a good tune. Some nice records in this lot, Slade singles from the early seventies with picture covers, don't see them very often, just the plain Polydor sleeve usually. Plus a European copy of When The Lights Are Out.

DAZZ - Lady Casanova Here's a late (1980) Glam cracker that Womblin' Glam Timmy Purr played me recently, that i've since bagged on vinyl.
This is the B-side of their single...

...Yes, i was going to post the A-side, but as it's more of a Punky Wunky New Wave song, than Glam... thought this might not be appropriate even though it's ACE and should have been a hit. They released it again, in 1981 with a different B-side.

...Yeah, 'Lady Casanova' could have been released as an A-Side.
Here's another 'late-ish' Glam Stomper. This time from The Glitter Band. By 1976 they were flirting with Disco to have hits, but this is more Rockin'... reminds me of AC/DC

A big thanks Andy LS for pointing me in the direction of The Last Glam in Town, the new LP by (John) Rossall of Glitter Band fame It really is every bit as good as you promised and, as you state, very contemporary sounding

...it arrived on vinyl today. Sounds fabulous. Comes with a booklet with a history of John's music and how the album came to be.

Never heard that track before Johnny It's great isn't it? Apparently Shambles main man Brian Engel joined the New Seekers in 1978 In the late 60s he was in a Psych group called Mandrake Paddle Steamer
36 different artists have chosen the Chaos moniker according to Discogs
Amazingly the Down At The Club / You Could Be My Girl single was co-produced by Martin Rushent.
They had one other single in 1975 called Guitar Man also produced by Martin Rushent
Chaos - Guitar Man
Another boogie type tune, and not as good as You Could Be My Girl
Thanks again Johnny, I was only thinking the other day how much I enjoy this thread and then you go and revive

There's clearly alot of thought and love gone into making the album... some riffs that are a nod to The Glitter Band. The production is superb. Along with "Fear Of A Glam Planet" i really like "Get Go Girl" "Got My Groove" "Equalizer" "Neon Lights" "Blackpool Rocks" "Glitterbomb"Neon Lights is such a killer tune Neon LightsReally love the Rossall LP Andy does it again!
