Sting is, at best, annoying
That's a given
But anyone going to admit to liking some of their songs?
I'm coming straight out with it, and giving a big thumbs up for So Lonely
The Police - So Lonely

Obviously, the first single Fallout was a great new wave rocker. The debut album, So Lonely, Roxanne, Born in the 50s, all top tunes. Saw them with the Cramps supporting, great night. But by Do Da Da Whatever they had become a Jackie magazine pin up band, no different from the Durannies and the Spands.

Can't stand losing you was the only one I could bear though I can't hear it now without turning it off. "Invisible Sun" was decent too. That second album is without doubt one of the most God awful things that I have ever heard though. Truly bad. Walking On The Moon and Message In A Bottle are so bad it's physically painful.

I really liked them. Pop music with substance. Although some of the subject-matter is dark I detect some positivity.

Walking On The Moon and Message In A Bottle are so bad it's physically painful. Can't stand the Police but 'MIAB' is one of my guilty pleasures and there's no denying that Copeland was among the best drummers of his generation.

All the hits work for me to varying degrees - not that I bought any
Never heard any of the albums
