I saw it on release, too bloody long. I can remember a couple of audience members getting up and leaving. A case of more is far from good.
Maybe on demand or dvd you could watch it in segments but it's mired in controversy now about the animals killed on set.

I watched it on TV decades ago. As PU says, it's just too long - there's lots that's great about it though if you don't mind a numb arse and a lot of filler
