Sardine V - Sudan
First single from this band based around Ian Rilen (ex-X, Rose Tattoo) on guitar and his wife Stephanie on keyboards. Saw them live a few times. Such a contrast to Rilen's other work!

I saw Weddings, Parties, Anything cover this at a show on the Esplanade, Cairns. Writer of the song, David McComb had just undergone heart surgery and WPA wished him all the best. Sadly, he would die of drug related complications a few years later. Fabulous song that always make me think of driving along the the deserted Aussie highways Triffids - Wide Open Road
