INXS - Beautiful Girl [1992]
I never thought I'd be posting an INXS song on this forum. I saw them a couple of times before they had recorded anything. No outstanding memories of that apart from a friend of mine who knew more about them telling me that the singer never washed his hair. Next thing I knew they were a big international success and were then largely outside my orbit. I did know, however, that they recorded a version of The Loved Ones 'The Loved One', which is a brilliant song, so I thought they must be a crap band, but at least they have some good taste. Anyway, I heard this song on the radio the other morning and I thought that's not bad, who is it? And I remembered who it was before the song ended. Now I played it on youtube and find that the song is about much more than I thought as well. I'm giving it a thumbs up. I heard a Duran Duran song on the radio this morning (don't ask me what it was) and this is much better
