Samuel Taylor Coleridge 'Rime Of The Ancient Mariner'
I saw a reference to this poem somewhere recently and remembered this recording with Richard Burton as the Mariner which I heard in English class at high school. It's at least 45 years since I heard this. It's very good
I read Richard Burton's diaries a few years ago. Apart from drinking and smoking his big love was reading. I don't think we'll ever hear a voice like his again.

We used to sit in English lessons, fidgeting in our seats during interminable plays and poetry readings. But Burton reading Dylan Thomas's Under Milk Wood had us transfixed. I can't think of another voice and another play in it's league. I still find an original vinyl copy now and then when I do a house clearance and I just have to play it. The opening line'To begin at the beginning' transports me back to nearly fifty years ago.

The Victims - High School Girls [Perth, 1978]
I was a school boy when I bought the No Thanks To The Human Turd EP in 1978. Great song, but I wonder if they performed it during their 2015 reformation. A bit of a dodgy song for old men

The Missing Links - Wild About You [Sydney, 1965]
Famously covered by The Saints on their first LP. All The Missing Links material is good. Get hold of their LP if you can. It's been re-issued a few times
