The planet is pretty tough. It survived for billions of years without us and will continue to do so after we wipe ourselves out and as far as the other millions of species we share it with are concerned, the sooner we do that the better.

Certainly seems that way....

I absolutely loathe this Government but I think their record on net Zero and other green issues stands up pretty well (no expert on their actions though) You only have to look at the US where the right wing still denies it's existence to quite a degree to see how bad things can be.
   Maybe the protest groups could spend their time more constructively protesting outside the foreign embassies of countries that are huge polluters yet do very little, that is where the real differences need to be made although those Countries tend to be a bit more adverse to protests were they to visit them.
   Not saying we can't do better we certainly can, but in relation to the Earth rather than England (and that's what climate change is about) then I am not sure that the protests we see at snooker or tennis or by gluing themselves to the road do much more than give the individuals involved a lot of self satisfaction without making any difference.
