Watched this last night and thought it was another great Julien Temple documentary.Sad to see Shane in that physical condition but good to see he still has his wits about him.

For once a music biopic that does the subject matter justice.
Its good that MacGowan's story wasn't clouded by regret, excuses and 'no one understands me'egotism.
You can tell a lot by his eyes and you could see the sincerity in them as he reminisced.
Also to all the Gerry Adam's detractors who were terrified by his inclusion?
It was good that he played such a central role in this film as MacGowan couldn't really articulate his view of Ireland past and present without him.
