He really was. He was also connected with the early eighties Sheffield scene, Human League, ABC, Heaven 17. He also booked bands for the Limit Club and the Leadmill, Skids, Michael Schenker, Style Council. He was in Scarborough to see Tom Jones (!) the previous evening.
