Obviously, I'm no spring chicken anymore and I wake up with creaks, groans and little ailments follow me throughout the day. I don't do Doctors as, imo, they're just an outlet for big pharma sales.
However, over the past fortnight I've been taking a mild dose of cannabis oil. This is Holland and Barrett legal THC free stuff, comes in a flavoured spray bottle. Twice a day and already I'm feeling the benefits, better sleep, aches and pains forgotten and a little bit more energy. Plus, I'm a misanthropic git at the best of times but people recently seem tolerable.
Might email Gareth Southgate later today and tell him I'm available for the Euros, if Grealish isn't fit.
Anyone else tried it yet?

I haven't but your anecdotal report suggests it's well worth a try The placebo effect can be powerful - to what extent do you think that might be part of what you've observed? This webpage suggests far more benefits than anything else www.healthline.com/nutrition/cbd-oil-benefits#TOC_TITLE_HDR_10Though there is much to be learned about the efficacy and safety of CBD, results from recent studies suggest that CBD may provide a safe, powerful natural treatment for many health issues.Sounds like a top tip PU I'm inclined to give it a go

Not a placebo, the benefits are tangible. I was suffering with sciatica, gone. Insomnia, gone. Tired feet, gone. And this is only a mild dose, 1.5%. Going to look at research on upping the dose but I'm very happy with it at the moment.

Looks good price, remember capsules and gummies take longer to absorb into your system than oils and sprays. Hope it works for you, I had a slow realisation of 'Hey, I feel alright today'.

This stuff has just been legalised for over-the-counter sales in Australia, but won't be available for about five months. I will be very interested to see how you both go with it in the meantime.

Whatever works for you, I guess, but IMO there is as much point to CBD as there is to decaffeinated coffee or alcohol free beer
If I want a good night's kip I pop a magnesium supplement, works like a spade round the back of the head for me

The best way to a good nights sleep is not thinking about the next day or all the other daily drudgery of life as an adult.
Mind you, as someone who enjoyed a good toot in the 80's, I always found that a good blaw was a good sleep.
However, recently I haven't been sleeping at all so might try the stuff recommended in OP.
Which might make me do two things;
Enjoy the Smiths or
Wake up to the fact I'm an auld cunt🙂

The best way to a good nights sleep is not thinking about the next day or all the other daily drudgery of life as an adult Part of the trick is definitely not to angst about it and just accept what is happening Easier said than done I had a terrible insomnia issue a few years back. I tried everything - in the end this is what I concluded helped me... 1. Sticking to a sleep schedule - go to bed and wake up at the same times 7 days a week 2. Exercising every day 3. Avoiding caffeine and nicotine - esp after middday 4. Avoiding alcohol in the evening 5. Avoiding large meals and beverages late at night - stop eating the earlier the better 6. Relaxing before bed (not screens) 7. Taking a hot bath before bed 8. Dark bedroom, cool bedroom, quiet bedroom, gadget-free bedroom - and/or eye cover to create darkness + ear plugs if you live somewhere noisy 9. Getting the right sunlight (blue light) exposure - get outside for 30 mins each day in the morning 10. If you really can't sleep don't lie in bed awake but get up and do some relaxing activity e.g. reading (nothing on screen) and go back to bed when you feel tired
