Seems like an age away.

Most of us here are the wrong side of 50 with the exception of young Smog, I think... Smog is the youngest unless Politician has been lying about his age. However I'd guess that OP is the grandpappy of this board, closely followed by PU with Nigel and Zeo coming up on the inside rails. Still very few under 40 and no women. A bit like a gay bar.

I wonder what happened to Cepi from the old site? She was not only female, but ineligible for a bus pass, something of a rarity.

If I was female I wouldn't be on here. Stupid old blokes going on about virtually unheard of records and bands from more than 40 years ago. F**king weirdos.

Went to see Kirk Brandon play 2 Acoustic sets last friday, with a gang of mates. There were of course, one or two Theatre Of Hate/Spear Of Destiny songs in there, but the bulk of the set were songs that were new to me. I really enjoyed this low-key intimate event. He got cheered back for a couple of encores - Kirk came out to have a chat with the punters afterwards, including us and we talked about him touring in Germany with TOH and one of his new songs, about Brighton (Hove) where he now lives.

^^
^^ I saw Kirk play round my way a couple of years ago.
I suppressed the urge to request this number partly out of politeness but also cos it would have been challenging to do with just an acoustic guitar

Saw Fontaines DC last night... a cracking show by a young group who capture the spirit of the original new wave. Highly recommended.
First gig for about 2 years for me.
