Hunter was pretty old when he started out but he's still with us and still putting stuff out. Good call.

Sounds pretty flipping ace Doug - thanks
A new name and new sounds to explore....
Following previous albums exploring British coastal quicksands, shorelines, caves and forests, Dave Clarkson takes his recorder into faded seaside towns and fairgrounds (including Rhyl, New Brighton, Blackpool, Porthcawl, Northumberland, Margate and Hastings) and applies his production technique to the results. Some tracks are melodic and rhythmic while others are more desolate, capturing the unique fading atmosphere for the locations. Music was generated from the source sounds he recorded of penny falls, onboard rides, fairground organs, demolition noise, electrics and location ambience. One track (Spectral Pier Ballroom) is a spliced and stripped composite of three separate old musical recordings from his family archive, featuring his late father, grandmother and grandfather.
Contains natural source sound ingredients, some left pure, some processed, some mangled, some untangled. Field recordings at funfairs and coastal ghost towns, plus voices, instrumentation and electronics.
Location recordings plus composition, production, mastering, photography, sleeve design, packaging and coordination by Dave Clarkson at Cavendish House studios between December 2021 and September 2022.

Okay, so I know FA about Coldplay.
But I do know about the Sound of Lecak!
Scene: Singapore 2022.
"Sitting atop a bean curd shop on grungy Geylang Road in Singapore, a room filled with vintage gear serves as the home and studio of Kribo Records, the home-grown independent label founded by the enigmatic musician and producer known simply as Maggot. This is where his madcap studio wizardry conjures up the muggy, sweaty, funky and groovy tunes that soundtrack his world within the melting pot culture of his homeland."
The double LP features several bands, but they are all Haqim Maggot and his friends.
Way groovy man!

Iwan Fals & Swami - Swami [Indonesia, 1989]
Swami is an album by Iwan Fals and the band Swami from Indonesia. It came out in 1989 and I bought it maybe a year later (only cassettes were available in Indonesia at that time). A lot of Iwan Fals’ music is just him and a guitar but there is a much fuller sound with Swami. I have seen it described as ballad rock, which is fair enough. Fals’ songs are often commentaries on the social and political realities of modern-day Indonesia. When this album came out that meant the rampant corruption and crooked and murderous politics of the Soeharto regime. You had to be brave to sing this sort of stuff. But it is also great music. Here are some of the tracks.
Badut [clown: media, politicians; everybody]
Bento [fictional corrupt figure, maybe Soeharto]
Bunga Trotoar [sidewalk flower; beauty for the homeless]
