After 6 weeks in a cast with a broken wrist sustained while exercising I went for a Spin class... ankle swells up like a balloon. One thing leads to another and A&E doctor puts me on anticoagulants for a suspected deep vein thrombosis. Ultrasound proves negative and it turns out to be (just) a ligament tear. They say exercise is supposed to be good for you

Flipping heck, that all sounds quite traumatic
Hope it all settles down soon
One of things I've realised, via my apple watch, is that of all the things I do (running, cycling, circuits) it's actually dancing that burns the most calories by quite some distance. A couple of hours of Northern Soul dancing is very intense and burns through the calories
