I'm pretty sure Joey wasn't there. I don't remember even meeting him and I went to all the main meets
I am the Fly and El Diablo were there representing Glasgow
Probably Explode too representing Aberdeen
And Lost Follower too. I'd already met him by then.
And pretty sure Mad Daddy was there
The other main meets I recall were the Bowie Is exhibition all dayer and the reformed Magazine gig in Kentish Town
There was also a few TPers at Iggy and the Stooges doing Raw Power in Hammersmith

The gig was at the 100 Club and it was my first TP "meet". We were well represented on the night by a dozen or more of the TP posse at the gig. yah, I was there; Lost Follower, Joey Deacon, Ian Part Time, MsD and China Doll were amongst the others IIRC I'm pretty sure Joey wasn't there. I don't remember even meeting him and I went to all the main meets I am the Fly and El Diablo were there representing Glasgow Probably Explode too representing Aberdeen And Lost Follower too, as you say. I'd already met him by then at one to one meeting And pretty sure Mad Daddy was there The other main meets I recall were the Bowie Is exhibition all dayer, and the reformed Magazine gig in Kentish Town, and also the Slits and Buzzcocks playing Selfridges! Strange but true. There was also a few TPers at Iggy and the Stooges doing Raw Power in Hammersmith

Mad Daddy was definitely there. He and Lost Follower were the first people I met at the pub pre-gig.
Vomitpunk & Becca Puke, Ged Baby, Ian Part time, China Doll and his Portuguese lady friend are some of the others I recall being there.
Blitzkrieg Bob was at the pub but I don't think he went to the gig.

We should organise a TP meeting once this Covid carry on is over.
However, my only proviso is that it should be in Glasgow😎👍
A celebration that the board still exists.
Can't believe I've been doing this for 12 years now

I can't remember if i mentioned it already, but i am currently working on some Eater related projects with Andy Blade and Paul Marko Andy was burnt out, when the thugs that got all their ideas on what Punk is from the tabloids started turning up at gigs, so going to the opposite extreme is understandable. Brian Chevette did likewise. You did mention it somewhere Very exciting Andy Really looking forward to what emerges What can you tease us with? Is it an article, website, music, film, combination? Andy has had to contend with a lot since the glory days of Eater however keeps on keeping on

What i can say for now is that since the demise of Dave Goodman, Andy is now in ownership of mastertapes of Eater recordings. Andy was never completely happy with how their album turned out, due to Dave being such a Pothead. Guitarparts and other extra bits and bobs, got left off what was released in 1977

'ANT' is a complete remix of Eater's one and only 'ALBUM' with guitar tracks that were missing from the original album, now to be heard in all their glory Mangogirrl - Andy Blade was never happy with how that record turned out back in 1977. So far, i have only heard two songs from these sessions so i can't fully answer your question... but i would say if you like/liked Eater, what i have heard sounded really good. This is perhaps my favourite of Andy Blade's solo albums.

...at the moment the Artwork i have worked on for the 'ANT' album is sat on my Mac computer awaiting a final tracklisting and running order and sleeve notes. TBH with how long things take to get pressed these days on vinyl, i can't see it being released this year... but who knows The single to promote the 'ANT' is at the pressing plant, in a long queue right now though, so that may be out this Autumn.

Thanks Andy. Shame it's likely to be such a long way off. Have you heard these new mixes? Is there much difference? I always thought the original album sounded fine.

...so far i have heard two songs. The new mixes are FAR warmer in depth of tone, punchier... with guitar dubs that got left off the original release from 77. To Andy Blade, it was not how it should have sounded at all, like it was unfinished... more like a backing track.

That sounds very intriguing. It also makes me wonder how much of an audience there will be. Is he putting it out on Bandcamp or has a label agreed to put it out?
