I know there are loads of haters out there in this world, but I will leave this mortal coil declaring The Beatles as my favorite band of all time.

Understandably so The haters are down on them because of either ignorance or their ubiquity It's no suprise they are as big now as they were 60 years ago They'll be like Shakespeare - a group that endures for centuries (assuming civilisation can overcome current and future challenges)

Would never downplay their songwriting talent and their producer who gave them a huge advantage over other bands, but they were only a live act for a few years playing 30 minute sets and then became a studio outfit only coming in with bits largely written already. Were they a proper band for more than about 5 years? Probably the greatest songwriters/studio performers/producer combo there will ever be, but not sure they could realistically get in a top 10 as a "band" with all being a band entails, couldn't come within a hundred miles as a "band" of The Who for example in the 60S.

Fascinating process
Worth watching for the moment they separate out John's vocals...

Fabulous process but a slight nagging doubt, is it really the Beatles? It's a Lennon composition from 78 just touched up by modern technology. They're not doing it for the money or fame so very laudable but does this not open the floodgates for other long since dead artists to have new stuff released? Will the music corporations be rummaging through cellars and dusty cupboards, while new (living) acts struggle to get even a vinyl single pressed.
