One of my favourite US punk records. Mission Impossible featuring a young Dave Grohl.

Curiosity made me look at this song.
Bing Crosby and Joan Collins - Let's Not Be Sensible [from The Road To Hong Kong, 1962]
Crosby at the time was about 59 and Collins was 29. She doesn't look like she's enjoying it.
Probably not Crosby's fault; it's just a movie. But it looks pretty sick

I never liked Bing. I read something years ago that he used to batter his kids with golf clubs. If true, it shows you what a horrible wee man he was.

Badger - Executive Outcome....
Badger - Executive Outcome | Democracy Manifest EP | Music Video
"Executive Outcome" is the lead track from Badger's latest EP, "Democracy Manifest", and was absolutely begging for some striking visuals to complement its dark and brooding yet enticing soundscape. I felt the track spoke perfectly to the frustration and bewilderment any rational person would feel at the world we live in, and critiqued the ease at which people fall in line with powers which clearly seek to manipulate and use them.
We set dressed a local pub as if it was a largely unattended wake to further emphasise the chasm between both sides of this artificially generated battle; the "mad conspiracy theorist" pitted against the clueless drone ignoring or perhaps not even caring about what is in front of him. This sadly, is democracy manifest...perhaps we should all just get a succulent Chinese meal together and try to break bread?
Taken from the Democracy Manifest EP
Many thanks to Sara Wilson and the lovely folks at The Museum Vaults, Sunderland, for allowing us to use this fantastic local pub for the shoot. If you should ever be in the area be sure to pop your head in; they offer the finest ales available to humanity!
