Now theres some people in that list who definitely aren't right wing. I take it you can vouch for the political views of all the people on there? I can't vouch for anyone on that list I was just querying your statement that... TV Smith is one of the handful of original punks who hasn't became a rabid right winger Your assertion suggested you knew for a fact that the vast majority of first gen punks are rabid right wingers, hence my query You don't know. Fair enough. Let's move on, and get back to The Adverts
Well considering it was you who regurgitated my assertion I don't see what there is to moan about. Put it this way, a lot if these original 77 punks haven't got a good track record. Look at the Buzzcocks letting their music being used for McDonalds for example. I didn't claim to know, it was your list so maybe you can shed some light on all their political beliefs?

It seemed highly unlikely. I thought you might have hard and fast evidence
I thought you probably didn't
Just wanted to check
No worries

In 2000 I saw TV at the Witchwood , a small venue in Ashton Under Lyne where I've seen hundreds of gigs.
He was doing some poetry and someone in the small crowd was talking. The Chameleons singer (there as a punter on his 40th birthday) tried to hit him. The only remotely aggressive incident that I've ever seen there.

You couldn't make it up👌🤩

I'll shed no tears if songwriters get paid, even for a meat ad

So what makes the Buzzcocks any different from say, Phil Collins or New Order?
