Mate's band on Saturday who are on the bill with a South London covers band called Punky Reggae Party. That's after an afternoon of Isthmian Premier League action at Lewes FC for the game against Worthing FC.

Dickies, Cockney Rejects, Skids, UK Subs and Steve Ignorant in around 4 weeks.
This should have happened 2 years ago.
Wonder if Stinky will go for a local pint...

Last night I had a wonderful time watching Alabama 3
I've seen them many times over the years and they always deliver
Hypo Full Of Love (The 12 Step Plan) was my personal highlight
What a tune

Went to see the Undertones and Hugh Cornwell both of whom were very good. Weirdly , at the bus stop I met someone wearing a Devo plant pot hat. He'd been to see a Devo tribute band.

I had a ticket for ( the rearranged ) Steve Ignorant gig at the 100 Club tonight, but the mate I was going with has since relocated to Sweden, and the thought of dragging myself into central London just didn't appeal, especially as I'm there on Saturday for Killing Joke in Hammersmith.

After a fab night of Northern Soul dancing it's all about Wet Leg today. On my fourth listen of the album. It's a joyous and beguiling winner. Can't wait to see them do their thang tonight.

Led Zep tribute on Saturday (Although the Ramonas are playing near the Moors on Friday I quite fancy that)
Then Steve Ignorant a week on Friday.

I've seen the Ramonas a few times Stu, they're definitely worth a look if you haven't seen them. Their own material is really good and their Ramones sets are a lot of fun.

I'm not really into all this Crass plagiarism stuff even though obviously he has the right to do it. Has anyone seen that Steve Ignorant single with him doing Bowie called 'The Kids were just Crass'? Still I'll probably have a look when he plays here a week on Saturday.
