Just looking at Forest's 6 match form it does seem that something is seriously amiss in the dressing room. Has CH thrown the players to the media to excuse the results? Must be something happening behind the scenes, the players are obviously not trying.

It's not CH's style to throw anyone under the bus.

We were one up against Cardiff and pushing the ball around reasonably well. They equalised and then we reverted to the long ball tactic which Cardiff swallowed up. Behind the scenes? Word is striker Lewis Grabban is a bit of a poisonous individual who gets up the nose of his teammates, not good.

Grabban was with us for a few years, I think his career is littered with a few seasons at quite a few sides which may tell a story. Need to get someone else in ASAP by the look of it although CH is a good manager and can't really see you getting a better one. Perhaps some players need weeding out.

Hughton must surely go now - 7 games and 1 point, plus the poor form at the end of last season
He's a thoroughly decent man and I feel sorry for him, but this form is as bad as it gets

Gone.
People are clamouring for Chris Wilder but with the current state of the club, I think we need Gandalf or Harry Potter.

Dane Murphy had a brilliant track record of unearthing gems from the Bundlesliga etc who fitted the Barnsley style so that one appointment followed seamlessly from another. Be interesting to see if he can achieve something similar at Forest. I hope so. I'd love to see Forest do a Leeds! Talking of Leeds, I heard Phil Hay discussing his new book 'And It Was Beautiful: Marcelo Bielsa and the Rebirth of Leeds United' Talk about a transformational managerial appointment. Right up there with Georgie Graham, Alex Fergusson, Arsene Wenger etc

They had massively underachieved for years, and with their fan base and dodgy smokescreen ownership which the football authorities have let them get away with for years they should have easily been an EPL club. The only thing you could rely on was Leeds to bottle it in the last few months of the season. They are getting found out now.

John Terry now in the frame. I get jaded with all this, every one mentioned is the next messiah according to different pundits. Maybe a spell in Division One will give the Board a reality check.

I admire Terry for going the number 2 route (ooh err) and learning his trade before getting a job based purely on his address book like Gerrard did. He could be worth a punt.

His head is gaan, I was at the game and we (Middlesbrough) creamed them and we didn’t even play that well. I still don’t understand why Brighton sacked him tbh.

Everytime they get fucked up by several goals to nothing people climb into Bielsa’s arse like he’s Christ himself. Unceasingly attacking a side that has you biting the pillow isn’t the hallmark of a top side, it demonstrates you’re a dumb cunt who is surrounded by toadies.

Unceasingly attacking a side that has you biting the pillow isn’t the hallmark of a top side, it demonstrates you’re a dumb cunt who is surrounded by toadies. Leeds had been floundering in mid table for years and Bielsa nearly got them promoted in his first season with less than five weeks before the season started and with the same squad that had been so underwhelming the season before. He then cruised to promotion in year two. I call that an immediate impact. He followed that with a 9th placed finish in their first season in the Prem. He knows what he's doing and succeeded where many many others had failed. I sense things won't be so straightforward this year but hard to see Leeds in any kind of relegation worries whilst he's at the helm. I’m not calling him all time great (at Leeds). Just transformational. Here’s hoping Forest can find their own transformational gaffer. I’m not a fan of Steve Cooper though many seem to rate him

Fair enough @lordemsworth ! I thought Leeds should have been in the prem years ago and that Bielsa is simply doing what should have been expected of the other managers. They’ve certainly got the resources to make things happen, after all.
