Thanks PU Love a when-festivals-go-wrong doc Will def check this out See also the Fyre Island doc. Privileged poshos get shafted... Finished Trainwreck now Loved it 30 years after the original Woodstock, here's a new celebration. "The biggest party on the planet". What could possibly go wrong? Everything as it happens. Fantastic three part doc about when festivals go wrong. Thanks PU Seen two of the three. The line up seemed totally aimed at the worst sort of American "frat boy", badly thought out in just about every aspect. Must admit I didn't even know a 3rd Woodstock took place, I know they did another with Dylan on the bill which must have been the '94 one, but this seemed about as unpleasant and greedy/corporate as it's possible to get.

Filmed In Supermarionation
Excellent doc on the history of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's AP Studio from the fifties basic puppetry of Torchy The Battery Boy to the high tech Captain Scarlet and beyond. The behind the scenes footage of all those wonderful shows such as XL5, Stingray, Thunderbirds etc is incredibly enlightening on how things got put together.

Thanks for reminding me, and the positive comments. The venue I worked in had 'An Evening with Gerry Anderson' around the late 90's. It is probably the best evenings I had while working; from the get-in and carrying the props and puppets, to photographing them, to meeting the great man himself, then watching the show and getting his autograph. A poster of the show is one of my prized possessions. It'll probably come as no surprise to anyone to hear he was a delightful person to meet - so polite and accommodating. The perfect gent. I can't speak highly enough of him, and for his body of work.

Cop Land
Well it's been twenty five years since I first saw this at the cinema, so I thought I'd give it a revisit. Not aged at all. Choc full of A listers Stallone, Keitel, De Niro and Liotta plus lots of pre Sopranos cast. Sly is excellent as small town cop who has to go up against the high powered crooked law enforcement community that he oversees. Lots of western High Noon overtones.

Pixie
Irish comedy crime caper about two young lads who get out of their depth after 'discovering' a big bag of drugs.Titular Pixie, a feisty gangster's daughter, does her best to help them off load the shipment. A couple of big name cameos give it some gravitas. Decent watch. 6/10

The next Martin McDonagh film is out next week, The Banshee of Inisherin, getting excellent reviews and reunites Farrell and Gleason
