Was going to say that was an astounding performance from City but I think PSG are a bit rubbish.

Was going to say that was an astounding performance from City but I think PSG are a bit rubbish. Fraudchettino at the helm can’t even activate MNM Now that flirty red devil in Manchester has started fluttering the eyelashes and giving the sly come hither stare Poch's head has been turned The oldest trick in the book. Take your foot off the gas but not so much that you're totally incompetent but just enough so that when Ed W rings his mate at PSG the thought of losing the gaffer is maybe not quite so bad

I can't be arsed with the Champs League group stages but, according to Barney Ronay....
Manchester City produced a performance that was oddly hypnotic: a brilliantly fluid, delicately stitched, oddly gentle display of how to win a game by simply picking your opponent apart.
City completed 266 of 286 passes, had 11 shots and five corners. Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez were astonishingly good. At times it felt like some kind of high-water mark being reached. It would be easy to say this was the best team in the world in action, but you know Bayern Munich will have a say in that, and City will always present their own weaknesses too.
So it does sound as though City were on top of their game - and they should be. One of the most expensively assembled and remunerated squads + one of the best coaches in the world. Amazing what unlimited ££££££ will do for a club.

No De Bruyne, Foden or Grealish either. However, Chelsea look absolutely solid all over the pitch. If the draw is favourable, City v Chelsea final with Liverpool and Bayern outside bets.

“External service provider”
Did the “external service provider” decide to plough on with the draw when everyone could see it wasn’t fair as well?

Fair play to the Sporting Lisbon fans who stayed right to the end of their teams thrashing, English supporters would have deserted the stadium after sixty minutes. City sublime as usual.

I think the earliest I ever left Maine Road was an hour [thrashing by QPR in late 90s] Seem to recall a scrap with cops on the way out, I took a camera to most games from 1984 onwards in order to capture any rucks, quite a dangerous thing to do actually.
