I am quite looking forward to the condensed version of these tournaments, with games pretty much every day.
It should help make up for the lack of the European Championships this Summer.
Man City v Real Madrid on Friday night should be pretty tasty

Always enjoyable watching Chelsea get dismantled...
Bayern looking good - must be red hot favourites

After watching Bayern run away with the Bundesliga title and German cup, they are irresistible. They do play high up the pitch though, so could get caught out by De Bruyne's passing and Jesus and Sterling's pace.

Bayern were very good indeed but the Barca defence was Vanarama standard at best. Messi should move on.... Nottingham is nice this time of year.

Yes. Absolute demolition. Fun too. Bayern are red hot favourites to win it.
Man City tonight.

Wow missed that one.Wonder if it’d been the same result if the stadium had been packed out.

Despite all their possession City didn't have that final cutting edge. Lyon had a game plan and stuck to it.

Sterling’s miss was inexplicable. It should be in extra time now. Moussa Dembele Has a habit of scoring against City too.
Ah well Pep. You can’t win em all.

Still marvelling at Sterling's miss (@ 6:55) and of course Edison's error at @ 7:28)
However, as PU states above, Man City should still be winning this at a canter given their manager and the gazillions they've spent on the team. Another year, another quarter final exit
Remarkable

Last year it was all English clubs in both finals, this year nowt. Burst the hubris of some of the BT pundits which is no bad thing to be honest.

True - though I suspect the French teams benefitted from having their league cancelled, and the German clubs benefitted from their season finishing earlier. Man Utd are now pretty much going straight into pre-season. Hard to imagine what state some of these players are going to be in when Euro 2021 rolls around next Summer.
