Just saw the cover for Rhoda Dakar's Version Girl LP. She's holding an LP with a male head on it and another one is resting against her chair. What records are these?
Meanwhile, the one laying flat down seems to be Rattus Norvegicus. Interesting choice. Doesn't seem to be any Stranglers songs on the record.

The other one on the floor looks like Tim Buckley, not sure about the one in her hand
Rhoda’s album is a fun collection of enjoyable cover versions and a few dubby version excursions
I like it

The album in her hands is Dandy Livingstone self titled.

I'm musing if there's a subtle joke on the cover. Songs by Tim Buckley and Dandy Livingstone both feature but nothing by the Stranglers, yet there is a Lou Reed tune called Hangin' Round.

Did someone else post about this sort-of Stranglers spin-off band?

^^^^^ I only heard You Better Believe Me for the first time very recently.
That has got to be Wilko on guitar. I know Wilko and JJ were friends and housemates then. The song Five Minutes was based on the rape of another housemate , who was an employee of a band I won't name as it may identify her.
I saw Wilko supporting both the Stranglers and Cornwell in recent years.

'Strangler In the Light' – Jean-Jacques Burnel – English Version, translated from the original French Version. Currently tucking into this book... on the first chapter which is a detailed conversation about his childhood. Book put together from a series of interviews during 'Lockdown months' Will report back when i have finished reading it, but enjoying it so far.
