After the split in 1987 two bands were created The Reegs and the Sun and the Moon I don't remember either of those bands Stu Are you a fan of either? On first listen neither of those songs particularly grabs me, though both are fine. I slightly prefer The Reegs one. I notice The Chameleons are coming to play here in February 2022 as part of their delayed "What Does Anything Mean? Basically" 35th Anniversary Tour 1985-2020 Has anyone seen them recently? To what extent would you recommend them as a live experience? £20 + BF which seems pretty good for such a legendary band

That particular Sun and the Moon track I was pretty obsessed with when it was released. The Chameleons are always worth seeing. I'm going to see them twice in December.

The second album consisted of songs some even older than the songs on the first album and a handful of newer tracks. The band seem to view it as just a contractual obligation to Statik Records and something of a [poorly produced] stopgap. Incredible given the quality on offer.

I didn't know that about the second album - as you say it's very good despite not being their "best" stuff

Three quality tunes. The version of As High As You Can Go is different to the album version.

Since the early days they've regularly encored with Alternative TV's Splitting In 2
And this was also often an encore . This is a studio version from 1986.
