The Chameleons: Script Of The Bridge – 40th Anniversary Re-issue Review.... The seminal debut album from Middleton’s finest ever band The Chameleons is finally re-issued on vinyl as we’ve never seen before, featuring some great new artwork from Reg Smithies. Uber fan Stephen Canavan presents a fine review of one of the best albums of all time…louderthanwar.com/the-chameleons-script-of-the-bridge-40th-anniversary-re-issue-review/....40 years later, it still proves to be that very rarest of records. One, that despite the merciless passage of time, has lost none of its ability to still awe and astonish the devoted, while enchanting the adoration of new listeners all over the world, for many years to come.

Great news More here.... post-punk.com/the-chameleons-announce-new-ep-and-single-where-are-you-their-first-new-material-in-over-20-years/Where Are You?, which will be released as part of a three-song EP on May 24, 2024, via Metropolis Records in conjunction with Strange Times Entertainment. “It’s exciting to finally be putting out fresh Chameleons material for the first time in over twenty years, although initially I found it quite daunting,” admits vocalist/bassist Mark Burgess. “The question about new music is one I had been asked the most from people coming to the shows, a great many of whom weren’t even born when those records were originally made but nevertheless were excited and inspired by the music enough to catch multiple shows on multiple tours.” Coupled with the shimmery and mesmerizing Endlessly Falling and the acoustic and contemplative ballad Forever, the Where Are You? EP is a slight taste of an upcoming album titled Arctic Moon planned for later 2024.
