Liked them up to around the "Hex" period then just lost interest. Always interesting though.

I'd assumed from your avatar you must be more of a fan They were always patchy but there are gems scattered throughout their career How about Blindness (best in Peel session version) and from 2005's Fall Heads Roll... Life simply doesn't get any better Crank it up and surrender to some total Fall genius The Fall - Blindness (Peel Session version)

The avatar was a quick pick when joining the site, will change when I get more thoughtful.

It's a great avatar I'd say stick with it Then again if you come across something that you feel is a closer fit with Brand Doug then I suppose you gotta upgrade Everyone loves Theme From Sparta FC right? Another latter day (2004) gem from MES and his gang It was the BBC's classified footie result theme for a few years Theme From Sparta FC

i agree with what PU says here, regarding the mythology surrounding Mr Smith... and John Peels unfiltered worship of him - but i do like some songs. They... as a collective of musicians definately had something. But it speaks volumes that no one stayed in that band for long. Don't think this has been mentioned on here yet... but i may have missed it There is this book out on The Fall this April Excavate! The Wonderful And Frightening World Of The Fall
