..yes Mr Page is a big fan. As i think i have already said on here somewhere, i love the way Killing Joke are impervious to fical fashion (especially here in the UK) and just steamroller on. The mark of a truly great band.

Some intimate recording studio footage just published of a shortlived project Jaz and Geordie worked on with Peter Hook in the 90s called K%93 - to my knowledge this song was not released at the time.
To my ears this would sound great in a film soundtrack...

New EP post-punk.com/killing-joke-announce-lord-of-chaos-ep-ahead-of-spring-uk-tour/amp/
For the first time since 2015’s Pylon, Killing Joke are gearing up to release new music. The long-running post-punk band have announced a four-track EP called Lord of Chaos, due out on the 25th of March, which features new mixes of “Big Buzz” and “Delete” (from Pylon), as well as two new songs: the title track “Lord of Chaos” and “Total”.
In the interim, Killing Joke’s members have been keeping busy: Youth collaborated on a dub remix project with anarcho-punk legends Crass; last March, Jaz Coleman and Geordie Walker unearthed 1993 recordings made with New Order’s Peter Hook, and released K÷93 (CADIZ Music). In October 2020 the band celebrated the 40th anniversary of their debut.
This new release will be followed by a UK spring tour featuring the classic Killing Joke line-up of Jaz Coleman, Paul Ferguson, Geordie Walker, and Martin “Youth” Glover, as well as festival appearances this summer. Killing Joke’s website has more ticket details for eager fans.

Killing Joke - Love Like Blood (Official Video) The tendency by an artist to slow down an original song and play it acoustically, trying to attach an 'emotional' vocal to it generally leaves me cold. However, this version of Love Like Blood is one I do really like: soundcloud.com/kimguy/love-like-blood-killing-jokeOn a separate note, I've got a ticket to see KJ in a pub in Cheltenham on Sunday, ahead of their tour. I've seen them in many small venues over the years but this is the smallest - limited to 80 I believe. I just hope COVID doesn't play a part.

I've got a ticket to see KJ in a pub in Cheltenham on Sunday, ahead of their tour. I've seen them in many small venues over the years but this is the smallest - limited to 80 I believe. That's exciting Have a wonderful night - and report back Footage from last night ( not mine ). Setlist here: www.setlist.fm/setlist/killing-joke/2022/the-frog-and-fiddle-cheltenham-england-b89515a.htmlPlenty of favourites & KJ classics ( Wardance, Pssyche, The Wait, Requiem et al ), plus others that don't often get an outing. I reckon there were about 140 of us packed into a small room at the Frog and Fiddle in Cheltenham last night. This clip shows the venue and crowd. The band were on good form and looked to be enjoying themselves, despite the occasional vocal feedback issues that seemed to frustrate Jaz. I also felt his vocals could have been a bit higher in the mix ( I was stood halfway back ), and Geordie's guitar coming down a touch. But these are minor issues as it was another excellent performance by the band, albeit a bit rusty and the lack of room on stage. But that's the whole point of a pre-tour warm up show, and this was their first gig since lockdown. I'm only doing the London show of this tour, by which time they will be fully up to speed ( providing COVID and/or Jaz's voice don't intervene ). If you can get to see them, do so.
